Things are dire at many states: forty-one states are expected to have mid-year budget gaps totaling $37.7 billion, according to the middle on Budget and Policy Priorities. Delaying the refund, Dennis says, "gives the state funds to work with in the interim to fill a gap in their revenues." Hawaii's Department of Taxation announced last month that it will delay income tax refunds until July 1, when processing and payments will resume on a "first-in-first-out basis," according to a news release. The state is delaying the funds to alleviate a $721 million revenue shortfall for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2010. below Hawaiian law, processing refunds must be done 90 days after the April 20 due day (or later if a return is filed after the due date). After that, the actual payment must be made within 45 days or interest has to be paid on the refund. BISHOP Denis Brennan is asking parishes in the Diocese of Ferns to help the church pay outstanding compensation and legal bills arising from clerical sex abuse cases. The bishop made his controversial appeal while addressing the AGM of the diocesan finance committee in the Riverside Park Hotel on Monday night. The statement was issued to the media an hour later by the diocesan communications officer Fr. John Carroll. Bishop Brennan said the diocese has now been settling sex abuse claims for the past 15 years, and diocesan and national church funding has been used to provide compensation. I've been dating this guy for almost 1.5 years and I keep realizing that I have a difficult time emotionally connecting with him. He's such a nice guy and is very commiting to this long-distance relationship with me.He even bought a home thinking that we will live together in the future. But I don't turn to him for comfort or relief from whatever hardship I go through. He doesn't make me feel that I'm really taken care of. Example: I'm a college student and I'm leaving to wherever I receive a job. It doesn't really seem to concern him. He says that he can always sell his home and relocate with me. Also, I;m dealing with a lot of problems that comes from finances and job, and just the uncertainty of where I'm gonna be at 1 year down the road. every he says is "That sucks" and then he moves onto another topic during conversation. The everyday phone conversation goes like this: Greeting->Ask me how my day was.->He tells me how his day was (mainly what he got done for the day)->sometimes discussion about a news article online or about sports->struggle to find another topic for the conversation->"I'm out of any conversation topic. I'll let you go." There is absolutely no part that pertains to any relationship building nice of conversation in our daily phone conversation. Plus, he calls me once a day around a certain time of the day, as if it's another daily task that has to be completed. There is no spontaneity. I'm starting to feel that there is no emotional connection with this guy and I might have to end the relationship. He's every about getting things done and I think that makes him an able person at work but I really don't think him having that quality helps in the relationship. On the flip side, he and I are not young and we were thinking about marriage. He's got good job, owns a home, and I think he provides great companionship (no flare of adore though). I don't know if I should leave him or just go with the flow and marry him. I don't think I am madly in adore with him though.... What do I do? Sometimes people say marriage is every about companionship and that burming adore does not last long. I don't know what to do.

I used to watch CBC news morning every of the time, until I stopped watching for a while. And today, I turn it on, and some random guy is apparently the host. Though Heather Hiscox and Colleen Jones used to annoy me once in a while I truly enjoyed their broadcast. I always felt that when they worked together the morning news had a more... "Personal" appeal. I also enjoyed the morning finance report where they would bring in that one guy (I forget his name, but he was real good). I was pretty disappointed with the new morning broadcast, this guy who anchors the show doesn't seem to give off that "personal" vibe. I sure he is great with news, I just miss the old setup. As the Liberal media, like ABC and Yahoo News, crucified a lone Senator in the press today because he stood up and said he was no longer going to vote for deficit spending to finance the indefinate continuation of Unemployment extensions and health insurance for those recipients (I didn't even know you could receive Fed health Insurance for those lay off). Of course they trumpet that he is a Republican, a maverick like Sarah Palin, stealing the bread and milk from innocent women and kids! How about we pay as we go..like any responcible person? How about the Congress "gets it" and ends the spending spree? California just clip the bonus they give SSI recipients.....because they are close BANKRUPTSY!
